1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or operating Plato POS ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision, please cease use and uninstall the Application.
2. License and Scope of Use
Plato POS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to utilize the software for commercial point-of-sale, kitchen order routing, inventory tracking, and billing operations across your restaurant outlets.
3. Cloud Integrations and Third-Party Services
Plato POS offers optional integrations with Google Sheets (via Google APIs) and Apple iCloud (via CloudKit). Use of third-party platforms remains subject to their respective terms and conditions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google and Apple account credentials.
4. Financial & Tax Accuracy
While Plato POS calculates PB1 dining tax, service charges, discounts, and split bills accurately based on your configuration, restaurant owners are ultimately responsible for complying with local tax regulations, financial accounting standards, and fiscal reporting laws.
5. In-App Subscriptions
Subscriptions (Plato Pro / Plato Enterprise) are billed via Apple In-App Purchase and managed through your Apple ID account. Auto-renewals can be cancelled anytime via Apple ID Subscription Settings at least 24 hours prior to the current cycle end.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plato POS and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from hardware disconnections (such as thermal printer jams or Wi-Fi router dropouts).
